MP is a company which operates in the provision of integrated coal services including the rental of a coal harbor and facilities for coal breaking. MP was established with the purpose to develop the infrastructure and facilities of coal, Coal Processing and Handling Coal Barging at the coal harbor; which includes coal stockpiling and coal transfer. As of now, MP owns 4 operational assets which are all operating fully and contribute to the Company. They are as follows:
Asam Asam Coal Port in Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan has the capacity to manage and handle 12 tonnes of coal annually. The port has facilities such as 1.2 km Jetty, berthing dolphin and mooring dolphin, conveyor belt, dust suppression system, reclaimed feeder, chute, metal detector, magnetic separator, automatic sampler, stacking conveyor, stockpile with 40 kilotonnes capacity, generator house with generator 4×1 MW, port office and 4 setting ponds.
Bengalon Coal Port in Lubuk Tutung, East Kalimantan has the capacity of 12 million tonnes of coal annually. It has the capacity to manage 2,000 tonnes per hour and operates full 24 hours daily; equipped with facilities such as happer (160m3) feeder breaker with capacity 2,000 tonnes per hour, conveyor belt, metal detector, magnetic separator, belt scale, sampler plant, sizer with capacity 2,000 tonnes per hour, stacker, stockpile with capacity of 80 kilo tonnes, diesel machines, gas tanks, water management tanks, hydrant pump, air pressure tanks and port office.
The West Mulia Coal Port is located at Mekar Sari Village, Kintap, Tanah Laut, Central Kalimantan and has the capacity of 12 million tonnes coal annually. This port has the sea facilities on top of the coal management facilities which help process, transport and store coal into the barge. The sea facilities include berthing and mooring facilities, truss bridge, offshore platform and shore protection. The coal handling facility has the capacity of 2,000 tonnes per hour and will be used for stacking, stockpiling, and reclaiming coal and for transporting coal into the barge.
Sangatta Coal Crusher is located at Swarga Bara Village, North Sangatta, Central Kalimantan and has the capacity of 12 million tonnes of coal annually. This Crusher operates 24 hours daily with the capacity of 2,000 tonnes per hour. It is equipped with hopper (4000 m3), feeder breaker, conveyor belt, metal detector, magnetic separator, sizer, tripper car, sample plant for conveyor, surge bin (400 ton), sample plant for stockpiling, and stockpile with capacity of 125 kilo tonnes.
The rental of these assets is regulated through the longterm rent contract that are applicable until 2022. As outlined by the contract, the client is responsible to take care of the assets on top of the rental fee payment or coal handling fee to MP, while MP is responsible to insure the assets against all risks associated.
