The Whistleblowing System (WBS) is a form of supervision established by the Company in carrying out internal control on an ongoing basis. WBS is a formal channel for employees to help improve the quality of corporate governance in a professional manner as well as an expression of there expectations, so that they can help the Company eradicate all violations or potential violations.
The types of complaints that can be submitted through the WBS mechanism are material offenses that are
against the Company’s vision, mission and values. All behaviors that violate Company Regulations, the Company Code of Ethics and other applicable regulations are also forms of violations that can be reported to the Company.
The whistleblowers can submit their reports through written letters and electronic letters by including their identity or without identity and strong supporting evidences related to the violation. The Company guarantees the confidentiality of the whistleblowers’ identity and provides protection for the whistleblowers if the report submitted to the Company is valid, can be followed-up, and verifiable. The Company will take firm action against false and irresponsible reporting. In 2019, the Company did not receive any material violation reports which needed a further investigation.
